Weather Receiver Introduction
Weather Receivers have become a popular option for networked systems. Adding this black box receiver to your network allows you to display live weather information and forecasting on your display. Weather reports, radar imagery, and sea surface temperature images and more are available.
The weather data is supplied via XM or Sirius. You must purchase a weather service subscription from them to use this feature. XM or Sirius satellite radio is also available from these receivers.
This product is not offered worldwide, and service is not available worldwide. The US, Canada and coastal waters are currently covered.
Installation
The weather Receiver requires 12 or 24 VDC power, an antenna, and network connection.
Choosing Your Weather Receiver
You must select this product from the same manufacturer as your Chartplotter and network—they are not interchangeable.
